As we continue to navigate this pandemic, Pop-Up Raleigh and the awesome team from Hopscotch Music Festival have been zooming, researching and asking the community how WE can help. If you are like me, you miss the atmosphere of our local festivals and markets, but we are combining forces (and followers) for a VIRTUAL Art Festival filled with LIVE music streams, past Hopscotch performances, an Insta-ART Auction, fun BAND swag and a NC artist+maker market. All happening this September, it is going to be a feast for the eyes and a way to support NC creatives while stocking up on things that make staying home even better!
More details about shopping and tuning into the virtual festival will be posted soon, but if you are a maker of cool things, curator of the best vintage t-shirts or a visual artists-HERE is the link to apply to the 2020 Hopscotch + Pop-Up Raleigh (Virtual) ART Market. The application explains all about how the VIRTUAL market will work for selling artists. We are also planning to raise money for a local ART relief charity (TBD-suggestions welcome). We are trying to make the process as easy as possible and have included some swanky perks for all the participating artists (a FREE Hopscotch ticket and early acceptance to the 2021 Festival Market). The market is still juried, but since it’s virtual, space for all the best NC artists is unlimited! Pop-Up Raleigh and Hopscotch Music Festival want to make it easy to shop, sell and stream from the safety of your home September 1st-15th!
Trophy on Maywood, Pop-Up Raleigh‘s market partner and favorite gathering spot, has RE-opened the patio with new hours (12-9pm daily), tons of safety precautions and a delicious beer selection. Food Trucks have returned and online ordering is still available. Check out their social media (Instagram & Facebook) or website for more information.
