More Markets+Music

I have been working on something BIG for weeks and I am finally ready to announce a new partnership between HOPSCOTCH Music Festival and Pop-Up Raleigh.

Ok, so let me explain a little further. I have been casually chatting about a market partnership within the HOPSCOTCH Music Festival for a few months, but the scheduling never seemed to align. In January the HOPSCOTCH creative team reached out with ideas about branding and growing their current market scene within the live music festivities. Friendly negotiations and BIG advertising opportunities make this partnership a good thing for makers, vintage vendors, artists, food trucks, live music and the monthly Pop-Up Raleigh market at Trophy on Maywood!

Pop-Up Raleigh information & swag will be sprinkled throughout all the HOPSCOTCH festivities, so even if you cannot participate in the new markets-monthly Pop-Up vendors will benefit from this partnership through increased local advertising. The new markets will be in addition to the monthly Pop-Up Raleigh markets at Trophy-same fun vibe and many of the same friendly vendors.

With support from the festival, I will be overseeing all aspects of the HALFWAY to HOPSCOTCH Day Party+Market (May 9th) and the HOPSCOTCH Music Festival markets (September 10-12). ALL events will have separate applications and the HALFWAY to HOPSCOTCH Day Party+Market application is online NOW! Last year’s H2H was such a success, it is being moved to CAM Raleigh in order to accommodate large crowds and allow for more vendor space! Harrington Street will be closed and admission to the day party+market is FREE. YAH for more local art, cool people, live music and fun markets!

Wait. EEERT. Hold on. What is HOPSCOTCH? “America’s Best Festival” and “the premiere experimental and underground festival in America”, HOPSCOTCH returns to downtown Raleigh for it’s 11th year, September 10-12, 2020. Featuring more than 130 bands over 3 days, the Raleigh festival is known for adventurous lineups, memorable performances, and a fan-friendly atmosphere. From a large outdoor main stage to intimate club shows, the festival offers music in almost every genre imaginable—rock, hip-hop, metal, folk, electronic, experimental, and more. Information about the September festival market and vendor opportunities will be announced mid April, 2020.
