Vendor Spotlight-Raleigh Soapery

the Raleigh Soapery makes soap from locally brewed beers

If you have not yet tried the delish soaps from Raleigh Soapery, I can personally recommend the Trophy Husband Saison. Made from Trophy Breweries beer, it smells warm and a bit peppery. I purchased it for my husband, but then secretly used up the first bar myself in the shower. I couldn’t help myself.

The Raleigh Soapery owners were profiled in the News & Observer today. They began making soap just a few short years ago, but you’d never know it from the quality of their suds. I have made soap before; it is deceptively easy to do but hard to do well. These ladies do it well.
