May is busy with lots of festivals, markets and concerts. After the stress of the last couple years, I am ready for BIG smiles and more community outings. We have a great list of local artisans, vintage curators and handmade goods headed to Trophy on Maywood this Saturday, 12-5pm. El Jefecito Food Truck will be serving lunch while Trophy keeps you cool with beverages for the whole family. Bold Batch Creamery is bringing ice cream and Grazin’ Gals will have individual charcuterie servings. The weather looks great and we will have vendors inside and outside the brewery, with plenty of covered seating for everyone!

May’s Nonprofit Partnership
The Filling Station is joining Pop-Up Raleigh this Saturday at Trophy on Maywood. This grass roots organization from Eastern North Carolina has continued to meet the needs of their community through donations and education partnerships with The Food Bank of NC, large and small businesses and local volunteers. After a devastating hurricane, The Filling Station offered basic needs and a place for the community to connect while rebuilding. Years later, the nonprofit continues to fill unmet needs with a focus on nutrition, education and connection. Meet the Executive Director (a NCSU graduate) this Saturday, 12-5pm.
